This shrine lies at northwest corner of Swoyambhu Mahachaitya next to Sri Samhengu Mahavihara, along the path leading to Shantipur. The structure is dome painted with red face of the Agni Bhairava (fire elements god). Sometimes it also painted in blue color. It has got three eyes representing the sun, moon and final conflagration. This shrine was consecrated by Guru Shantikar acharya to protect the place from the disasters related to the fire element.
